It’s amazing to me that Reid has the gall to complain<\/a> about Republican obstructionism when Democrats have yet to vote on Bush’s judicial appointees.<\/p>\n

While some Republicans are “saying the right things on Iraq,” they need to back up their words with votes, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Saturday. <\/p>\n

“Voting against a bill on a matter of principle is one thing,” the Nevada senator said during the weekly Democratic radio address. “To go forward, we will need far more Republicans to put partisan politics aside and work with us for the American people.”<\/p>\n

While seeking their votes on defense legislation next week, Reid accused GOP lawmakers of blocking ethics reform and enactment of the 9\/11 Commission recommendations.<\/p>\n
