\nJoel Osteen, the pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston and the author of the best-seller Your Best Life Now, has signed what could be one of the richest nonfiction book deals ever.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
I know his books make money, but why would they think they would make that much? This is very bad news and it’s a shame that this kind of perversion of the gospel will be even more widely spread.

\nBTW, you might want to go over and check out David Price’s “Espresso Roast” blog — I think you’ll find it interesting and informative. He looks at the news from a Christian point of view (sort of like here, that’s probably why I liked it) and he is much more current than I am :-).
