\nChrist died for the sins of his people, today we remember that sacrifice. Man is a sinner and will be punished for his sins when he dies. Many expect that if they are good enough they will be saved, but the Bible is clear that is not the case:<\/p>\n

Galatians 3:10<\/span> For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.” 11 Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.” 12 But the law is not of faith, rather “The one who does them shall live by them.” <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But those who are united with Christ will be saved for he died on their behalf:<\/p>\n

Matthew 1:21<\/span> She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”
\nMatthew 20:28<\/span> even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
\n1 Corinthians 15:3<\/span> For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,
\n<\/span>1 John 2:2<\/span> He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
