Oh, if only a sitting president would talk so tough to Mexico.  If he were elected, I doubt he would talk so tough.  He might act tough but I bet he wouldn&#8217;t really say what he says on the recording.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www2.nationalreview.com\/dest\/2007\/03\/21\/thompson.mp3\">Here<\/a> is a link to his interview with Laura Ingram (<a href=\"http:\/\/corner.nationalreview.com\/post\/?q=MWY0ZjdmZjliOWYwZDY4ZjllN2VmOWYyZmJhNzMwNTE=\">via<\/a>).<br \/>\nHe doesn&#8217;t sound like he really wants to run but then again, he is an actor and may be playing coy.  But he does seem to realize that there is a need for strong, <span style=\"font-style: italic\">articulate<\/span> leadership.  He did say something that I&#8217;ve been saying all along that we need an articulate commander in chief who will be able to help the American people to see that we are at war and we will be at war for the foreseeable future.  The next president <span style=\"font-style: italic\">has<\/span> to be someone that can do that.<br \/>\nI know that it&#8217;s easier not to run, he has a wife and two children but the country needs his skill set and the base isn&#8217;t happy with their choices.
