Former House speaker Newt Gingrich — a possible Republican presidential candidate — will be the spring commencement speaker at the Reverend Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University.
\nA university spokesman says Falwell announced during a chapel service today that the Georgia conservative will speak at the May 19th graduation ceremonies.
\nGingrich’s appearance follows a commencement address last year at the evangelist’s school by Arizona Senator John McCain — another G-O-P presidential contender.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
