Fuller has spent about two decades in prison for the crime.
“My faith was tested and I won,” he said, trembling slightly as he left the courthouse carrying two worn paperback Bibles.

What is truly amazing is that when the Judge, who was not involved with the original case, apologized to Fuller for his wrongful imprisonment, what does he say?

“Thank you,” Fuller responded. “Apology accepted.”

Yeah, his faith was tested. And by his actions we see that faith. Glory to God.
Now as Christians, we understand what it means to be freed from the prison of sin. That is where Christ finds all believers and declares us not guilty of crimes we actually HAVE committed. This story reminds me to thank God for His graciousness toward me, a sinner. It also leads me to doxology:
Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise him all creatures here below; Praise him above, ye heavenly hosts; Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen!
You can read the rest of the story here, and also learn more about The Innocence Project here.
HT:Good News Network

Wow, two posts in one day…whoohoo!
