What is a “radical” Christian? Apparently we’ve doing something worse then bombing American assets over seas, killing American citizens, flying planes into buildings and planning to blow up planes and buildings:<\/p>\n
While discussing the 9\/11 anniversary and the war in Iraq on Sept. 12, O’Donnell compared “radical Christianity” to the Islamo-fascist beliefs of those who planned and carried out the 9\/11 terrorist attacks. Advocates for traditional, biblical Christianity are not surprised by O’Donnell’s attack.
\nView co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck was defending the proactive strategy followed by the Bush administration in removing the Taliban government in Afghanistan and toppling Saddam Hussein in Iraq.
\n“I mean, it’s been five years, we have not been attacked,” Hasselbeck said. “We’re also in a- We’re on the on the offense here. We have to be, because we were attacked five years ago.”
\nO’Donnell interrupted<\/span>.
\n“One second, We were attacked, not by a nation,” O’Donnell argued. “And as a result of the attack and the killing of nearly 3,000 innocent people we invaded two countries and killed innocent people in their countries.”
\nHasselbeck continued, arguing that she believed the U.S. was not attacking the countries, but the Islamo-fascist beliefs of those who support and carry out terrorism against the U.S. and its allies.
\n“But do you understand that that the belief funding those attacks, okay, that is wide spread?” Hasselbeck asked O’Donnell. “And if you take radical Islam and you want to talk about what’s going on there, you have to…”
\nBut O’Donnell interrupted, again, before Hasselbeck could finish her comment<\/span>.
\n“And just one second,” O’Donnell said. “Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America where we have a separation of church and state<\/span><\/span>. We’re a democracy here.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\nPoor Elizabeth Hasselbeck having to work under these conditions, out numbered by insane people. I think it’s telling that they don’t let her finish her thought. This is typical, liberals demonstrate time and again that they only view their speech as free, they want to suppress speech that doesn’t agree with their opinion.
\nI hope Rosie keeps plying it on so that the American people see how deranged the left have become (the American public that watches this kind of show). I think most Americans see this as an unfair comparison. They understand there’s a difference between Christians and radical Islamic fascists. We are not the ones that would kill you for being a lesbian.
\nAnd who is surprised the Rosie hates us? Jesus said that people would hate us and these types of attacks just prove the truth of his statement:<\/p>\n
John 15:18-19 “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
These attacks don’t weaken my faith, they strengthen it.<\/p>\n
