I say that because he wrote a public apology <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nypost.com\/postopinion\/opedcolumnists\/one_arabs_apology_opedcolumnists_emilio_karim_dabul.htm\">here<\/a>.<br \/>\nNo, he was  not personally involved with the terrorist attack, but the fact that he remained silent made <span>him feel &#8220;sick of saying the truth only in private &#8211; that Arabs around the world, including Arab-Americans like myself, need to start holding our own culture accountable for the insane, violent actions that <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">our <\/span>extremists have perpetrated on the world at large.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/span>This has been something that I have wondered for some time now, why don&#8217;t more in the Muslim community come out and condemn what these Islamofascists are doing?  I&#8217;m encouraged to hear that some are speaking up.  I think that only when they are condemned within their own community, will we see a change.  We should pray for those willing to speak out.<br \/>\nThese extremists have not only hijacked airliners but the religion of Islam as well.
