\nBut the tide may be changing. I say that because he wrote a public apology here<\/a>.
\nNo, he was not personally involved with the terrorist attack, but the fact that he remained silent made him feel “sick of saying the truth only in private – that Arabs around the world, including Arab-Americans like myself, need to start holding our own culture accountable for the insane, violent actions that our <\/span>extremists have perpetrated on the world at large.”
\n<\/span>This has been something that I have wondered for some time now, why don’t more in the Muslim community come out and condemn what these Islamofascists are doing? I’m encouraged to hear that some are speaking up. I think that only when they are condemned within their own community, will we see a change. We should pray for those willing to speak out.
\nThese extremists have not only hijacked airliners but the religion of Islam as well. Now is the “ time for all Arab-Americans, and Arabs around the world, to protest against Islamic fascism, to raise our voices – and, where necessary, our arms – against these tyrants until their plague of terror has been driven from the face of the earth forever.”
