So, today I received a shock. Sarah tells me that she wants to learn how to do the laundry. She is going to wash and dry the clothes. Out of the blue, part of my duties have been assumed by my daughter. I think this is interesting in light of my previous post. And she even rearranged the towel closet. She says that she doesn’t do enough around the house. Wow, I’m still in shock about this. So, there you go, don’t force your kids to do work (except clean their room and put their own clothes away) and they may grow up to actually volunteer to do work on their own.
