St. Stephen<\/strong> was stoned to death.

James the Great<\/strong> was beheaded and his accuser repented, professed Christ and also was beheaded.<\/p>\n

Philip<\/strong> was scourged, thrown in prison and then crucified.<\/p>\n

Matthew <\/strong>was slain with a halberd (a pike fitted with an ax).<\/p>\n

James the Less<\/strong> was beat and stoned by the Jews and had his brains dashed out with a fuller’s club.<\/p>\n

Matthias<\/strong> was stoned at Jerusalem and then beheaded.<\/p>\n

Andrew<\/strong> was crucified on the cross.<\/p>\n

Mark<\/strong> was dragged to pieces by the people of Alexandria.<\/p>\n

Peter<\/strong> was crucified upside down.<\/p>\n

Paul<\/strong> gave his neck to the sword.<\/p>\n

Jude<\/strong> was crucified.<\/p>\n

Bartholomew <\/strong>was cruelly beaten and then crucified.<\/p>\n

Thomas<\/strong> was thrust through with a spear.<\/p>\n

Luke<\/strong> was supposed to have been hung on an olive tree.<\/p>\n

Simon <\/strong>was crucified.<\/p>\n
