\"\"<\/a>No other person in history has created more change and disruption to the status quo<\/em> than Jesus Christ of Nazareth.<\/p>\n

And for those people who are following Jesus’ teachings in ways we would consider “radical,” there’s a lot of change and disruption there too.<\/p>\n

I’m sure you could think of a few people who have experienced radical change and life disruption.<\/p>\n

Through the crucifixion, our sins are nailed to the cross, paid in full, and flung as far apart as east is from west.<\/p>\n

And in the resurrection, Jesus offers new life.<\/p>\n

A changed life.<\/p>\n

A disrupted life.<\/p>\n

In the old way, we rejected God. We chose to try and make ourselves like him and to glorify ourselves.<\/p>\n

In the new life, we choose Jesus. We choose to live in ways that increase God’s glory, not our own.<\/p>\n

We submit.<\/p>\n

We obey.<\/p>\n

We change.<\/p>\n
