\nfor him.\u00a0 <\/span>Miss California confessed
\nthat she was tempted into “political correctness” in her answer–thinking that
\nthe audience would want the liberal answer–but instead answered according to
\nher own true opinions.\u00a0 <\/span>She
\nbelieves that marriage should be between a man and a woman.\u00a0 <\/span>Period.\u00a0 <\/span>That’s her opinion.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
\nliberal commentator Rachel Maddow, “the Rosa Parks” of gay marriage–refusing to
\nmove to the back of the beauty pageant bus in order to maintain her
\nintegrity.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Or maybe a kind

\n<\/span>Here she stands–she can do no other.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
\ntraditional marriage?\u00a0 <\/span>What if she
\nwas eliminated because she was completely incomprehensible?\u00a0 <\/span>First, she didn’t seem to know what to
\ncall traditional marriage–she contrasted “same-sex” marriage with something
\ncalled “opposite marriage.”\u00a0
\n<\/span>Second, she praised the fact that in America we can freely choose
\n“same-sex marriage” or “opposite marriage.”<\/span><\/p>\n
\nmarriage.\u00a0 <\/span>We only call it
\n“opposite” when we are fighting over how to fold the laundry (he folds the
\ntowels in the opposite way I do and they don’t fit in the closet correctly).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nsaid exists–free choice–doesn’t exist for your fellow gay and lesbian citizens
\nin California. \u00a0<\/span>Unless, of course,
\nall the gay people in California move to Vermont.\u00a0 <\/span>They can have free choice there.\u00a0 <\/span>People who hold your opinion negated the possibility for
\nfree choice for those with a different opinion in your own state.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
\ninformed opinion about a controversial issue. \u00a0<\/span>You said you expected a controversial question.\u00a0 <\/span>But you
\ntripped<\/i>–like last year’s Miss USA who fell off her high heels at the Miss
\nUniverse pageant or that poor Miss South Carolina who blamed geographical
\nilliteracy on the fact that many Americans were too poor to own maps.\u00a0 <\/span>You aren’t informed about an issue that
\ndivides your own state–and you don’t realize that you contradicted
\nyourself.\u00a0 <\/span>Political correctness didn’t
\nsteal your crown.\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Political ignorance did. \u00a0<\/span>I don’t like the way the Perez Hilton
\nresponded to your lack of understanding, but you might take responsibility for
\nblowing your own chances.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
\nyou.\u00a0 <\/span>You might be wondering why
\nMiss North Carolina didn’t get asked about insider political information and
\nbank runs.\u00a0 <\/span>But that’s the way beauty
\ncontests go.\u00a0 <\/span>So, here’s a friendly
\npiece of advice:\u00a0 <\/span>Next time someone
\nasks you a question just reply, “World peace.”\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
