You love to remember your promises, especially your promise to side with the poor and underprivileged against the proud and self-sufficient. Remember that promise on our behalf, today. Without your intervention in this case, injustice will prevail.<\/p>\n<p>Remember your miracles so long ago, the miracle we remember with Hanukkah. Remember the impossible odds; remember the lost cause; remember the hopelessness; remember the \u2018Cinderella story\u2019 turnaround\u2026 and do it again, here and now. As in Israel of old, when you brought the surprising victory of the Jews against their invaders, bring the same for us and our just \u2013 and otherwise hopeless \u2013 cause.
