Libyan protesters are celebrating in the streets of Benghazi today. They claim they’ve secured control  <\/span>the country’s second largest city. Bloody fighting and anti-government demonstrations have also spread Tripoli, the capital. Protestors have gathered in the city’s main square. <\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The government is digging in its heels. Moammar Gadhafi’s son vowed today that security forces would fight “until the last bullet.”<\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Protesters are demanding Gadhafi’s ouster are presently staging new marches in the capital’s main Green Square and at the leader’s residence. This will likely spark a new round of violence. <\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n
