Some things are too good to be true:<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

living to be 101;<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

winning the lottery;<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

hearing God speak.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/b>Despite the fact that these things are out of the ordinary and even unlikely, they happen every day to people all over the world. With a healthy diet, exercise, and regular checkups you can outlast your genes. Buy enough scratch-off tickets and eventually you’ll get lucky. But hearing God speak? Is there anything you can do about that?<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

We think so.<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

God being God, we can certainly do nothing to force communication from him. God will speak when and if he chooses to do so. But can we do anything to make it more likely that we will hear God’s voice? Can we position ourselves to more easily, accurately and consistently listen? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
