\u201cIn the morning will I order up my prayers.\u201d Psalm 5:3<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

What do you need today? Every day seems to present challenges. They vary in size and type, but they all seem big in our mind\u2019s eye, and many times there is no debate: they are<\/em> big.<\/p>\n

Whatever you need today, God has the answer.<\/p>\n

There are so many things we can\u2019t change. People are on the top of the list. We can\u2019t even manage their inner motivations. All we can do is ask for grace. Does God give it? Yes, if<\/em> we ask, and if<\/em> we ask in faith. James reminds us that the person that doubts God can expect only this: nothing. Nada. Our faith in Him has a big part to play in the answer to our prayers.<\/p>\n

We do our part: believe. And God does His part: extend His hand of grace to meet our needs.<\/p>\n

Faith expresses itself in love, the Scripture tells us, so if we are skilled at the art of loving \u2013 loving God and loving people \u2013 that is an indication that our faith is developed. That\u2019s when we start to see traction in answered prayer.<\/p>\n

We build our faith, we practice walking in love with people, and we Ask! In the morning (or anytime of day, but morning is perfect) we can order off of God\u2019s menu, so to speak, whatever we need for the coming day.<\/p>\n

Here is a tiny sampling of His Menu:<\/p>\n

Grace and strength when you feel weak.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cMy grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.\u201d ~ 2 Corinthians 12:9<\/p>\n

Rest for the weary<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then Jesus said, \u201cCome to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.\u201d ~ Matthew 11:28<\/p>\n

Healing<\/strong><\/p>\n

Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out and touched him. \u201cI am willing,\u201d he said. \u201cBe healed!\u201d ~ Mark 1:41<\/p>\n

Provision<\/strong><\/p>\n

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 4:19<\/p>\n

Inspiration<\/strong><\/p>\n

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. ~2 Timothy 3:16<\/p>\n

Guidance<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. ~ Psalm 37:23<\/p>\n

Wisdom<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. ~ James 1:5<\/p>\n

That’s just a start… Ask for whatever you need, and don\u2019t forget to thank Him for the answers! Pray your own plain and simple prayer today!<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. ~ Philippians 4:6<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
