We pause to pay our respects, to vow that such a terror will never happen again, to pay honor to the survivors and their families, and to pray for God’s justice and mercy and blessing in the face of the scars we all still bear for this grave injustice. <\/p>\n

We can only ask for your mercy and justice today. May it never happen again. As the decades pass may those of us who were not touched by this tragedy still never forget what happened. And in this distant wake, bring a new and fresh blessing of favor on your chosen people, the Jews. Those of us who know of you because and through their legacy ask you to never forget your ancient promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Keep your covenant with them.
