If you obey all the decrees and commands I am giving you today, all will be well with you and your children. I am giving you these instructions so you will enjoy a long life\u2026 (Deuteronomy 4:40)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. (John 10:10)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The promises above are almost too good to be true, but we can\u2019t claim them unless we meat the criteria: obeying ALL the decrees and commands of the Lord\u2026 That is a tall order and one that is impossible to satisfy. Jesus boiled all the commandments down to basically one: Love the Lord Your God and love your neighbor as yourself. I can\u2019t step out of his commands unless I step out of love in my thoughts, words, or deeds.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s major in love today! I want things to go well with me and my children, don\u2019t you?!<\/p>\n

Father,<\/em><\/p>\n

Please teach me to walk in love! Help me to love my family (especially when they irritate me), my co-workers (especially the ones that irritate me), my neighbors (particularly the ones that irritate me), and everyone I come into contact with (especially when they irritate me).<\/em><\/p>\n

Help me become the kind of person that isn\u2019t easily irritated! Teach me to love like You love.<\/em><\/p>\n
