The Hebrew meaning for <em>shalom<\/em> encompasses every possible blessing we can imagine. Let\u2019s take the definition of <em>shalom<\/em> and apply it in prayer to the lives of our children today. Remember that faith calls things that are not \u2013 to our physical\u00a0senses \u2013 as though they actually were. Faith denies, in a sense, what our physical senses discern, for faith knows that reality is much more than meets the eye!<\/p>\n<p><em>Father,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I thank you for the promise of your Word that declares that you are teaching my children. Because they are educated by You, they are experiencing peace in every dimension of their lives. I declare that their shalom is great \u2013 established, expansive, extensive, and extraordinary! I thank You that their peace is strong in every capacity. Thank you that you are prospering them financially so that all their needs are fully supplied by Your riches. I thank you that they are experiencing health in their bodies, the supernatural healing and strength that come from you. I appreciate your protection over their physical lives, giving them safety from storms both physical and metaphysical. I thank you that they are experiencing contentment in every area of their lives. I praise you that they are walking in peace with me, with our family, and in every human relationship including their enemies. Thank you that soundness of mind is theirs and that you have given them the mind of Christ, a mind that is quick to learn, quick to remember to follow you, quick to obey you, quick to forgive others, and free from all fear. Thank you for teaching my children and for watching over their welfare today and every day!
