We carry many responsibilities as adults; we\u2019ve learned the importance of autonomy and we understand the necessity of coping successfully with many concurrent tasks and pressures. Still, we approach our\u00a0Father as little children who need His\u00a0help. We simply aren&#8217;t required\u00a0to carry the pressures we face on our own.\u00a0We can lift them up to our God, and He will lift not only our burdens but us as well.<\/p>\n<p><em>Father,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I lift my hands to you today, asking you to lift me up. Hold me so that I can look in your eyes and feel the joy that your gaze tells me I give you. Embrace me so that I can feel your heart beat. Carry me through the pressures I face this day. Sustain me through the storms I sense are coming. In your arms I rest secure. In your embrace I fear nothing.
