The God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed or conquered\u2026and it will stand forever. (Daniel 2:44)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Those who trust in the Lord are as secure as Mount Zion;<\/strong><\/em>
\n they will not be defeated but will endure forever.<\/strong><\/em>
\nJust as the mountains surround Jerusalem,<\/strong><\/em>
\n so the Lord surrounds his people, both now and forever. (Psalm 125:1,2)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Paris was under seige last night. Who\u2019s next? Isis, the self-declared Islamic Caliphate, is bent on conquering the world. Where could we possibly live that would be safe? The only safe place in the world today is inside the Kingdom of God. Making Jesus the King of your life, makes you a legal citizen of His Kingdom with all the rights and privileges that ensue: protection is one of many. And even if we are thrown into the fiery\u00a0furnace of terrorism, the King of our Kingdom will be there with us, arming us with strength and fearlessness. For if we lose our lives for His sake, we gain so much more in the next with Him as our King.<\/p>\n

Father,<\/em><\/p>\n

I am fearless in the face of danger, for you surround me with impenetrable safety. Your love is a force-field of protection, casting out all fear that tries to invade my mind and heart. This world isn\u2019t all there is. It is simply pre-school for learning obedience to You and learning to understand how unfathomably you love me.<\/em><\/p>\n

Bless our enemies. You have taught us to pray for them. We lift each of them up to your throne. Please make yourself known to them through the valiant believers you have placed in their midst, through dreams, through visions, through angels, and any other method your great mind has conceived. Bless those who are risking their lives to tell our enemies that they are loved by God, \u00a0and there is a God who is all-knowing, all-loving, yet all-consuming of evil.<\/em><\/p>\n

I take my place in your Kingdom today, to pray, and to go where you call me to go. It\u2019s getting serious down here, Lord. I\u2019m getting serious for You, Your Kingdom, and Your purposes.<\/em><\/p>\n
