How can I ensure\u00a0that God will be there for me when disaster strikes me or my family? God&#8217;s promise in Psalm 50\u00a0tells us that if we have a\u00a0grateful heart towards God, his help will be available to us when we are in difficulty. Simple gratitude isn&#8217;t cheap, but it is a bargain when it comes to the benefits: inner peace and\u00a0joy that spills over to all within earshot of our grateful tone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>My Father,<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>I leave behind a heart that is unobservant of your kindness and love towards me.
