“We love each other because he loved us first.” 1 John 4:19<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Stop whatever you are doing right now and jump into the stream of God’s love. It is a river of giving and receiving love that never ends. Love is first and foremost among the amazing virtues of the Holy Spirit. It leads to real JOY and to PEACE. These are things that world can only give in cheap counterfeit.<\/p>\n

You can jump into the flow of God’s love exactly where you are right now. You don’t have to better yourself first. You cannot anyway without his help. If you are bumbling in your efforts to give love, then receive it from God in faith. If you are unable to receive love, then give it away to someone as an act of your will. By doing so, you will get into the flow of learning to love. It is a river of giving and receiving that yields great purpose and joy in life.<\/p>\n

This month we are honing in on praying for marriages. If your love has stalled in your marriage, try jump starting it with this prayer:<\/p>\n

My Father,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I can’t seem to love like you have asked me to love. Please grant me a greater capacity to love by infusing my spirit with the knowledge of your great love for me \u2013 unconditional, free, and never ending. May I experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully.* I’ll make that my starting place. I receive your love as I receive anything from you \u2013 with my faith. I believe that you exist and that you reward\u00a0those who diligently seek you.** I am seeking you, and I receive your reward \u2013 your amazing love for me, your child.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
