This is what the <span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span> says: By this time tomorrow in the markets of Samaria, six quarts of choice flour will cost only one piece of silver,<span style=\"font-size: 8px;line-height: 22px\">\u00a0<\/span>and twelve quarts of barley grain will cost only one piece of silver.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em><strong><span id=\"en-NLT-9686\" class=\"text 2Kgs-7-2\">The officer assisting the king said to the man of God, \u201cThat couldn\u2019t happen even if the\u00a0<span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span> opened the windows of heaven!\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em><strong><span class=\"text 2Kgs-7-2\">But Elisha replied, \u201cYou will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won\u2019t be able to eat any of it!\u201d (2 Kings 7:1,2)<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">If you think God&#8217;s promises are too good to be true, then they might just be out of your reach. This gentleman who questioned Elisha&#8217;s prophetic promise that the siege against Samaria would be over and food would no longer be scarce, saw the miracle but died a tragic death before he was able to enjoy it. There is something powerful about faith and belief. With it, we can enjoy God&#8217;s bounty. Without it, we can walk away disappointed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">When you see a promise in Scripture, believe it. Don&#8217;t respond with, &#8220;That could never happen to me!&#8221; Let&#8217;s learn that we are not the exception to neither His promises nor His commands.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>My Father, <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>If your Word says it, I will believe it. And I thank you for it. Your Word never gives false hopes, never exaggerates, never lies. I choose to believe every promise, to cling to it, to hope for its fulfillment\u00a0in my life, for the glory of Your Name and for the sake of your Kingdom.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>Amen<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elisha replied, \u201cListen to this message from the Lord!
