Psalm 119:60<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><em>We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work. John 9:4<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Our society is constantly\u00a0in a hurry. We want instant everything. Living a hurried life\u00a0is not God&#8217;s plan. But it IS God&#8217;s plan when it comes to doing what most of us are very slow to do: \u00a0obeying what Jesus tells us to do. We are slow to forgive, slow to repent, slow to believe, slow to shut up, and slow to pray. But we are in a hurry to get what we want when we want it, even if we have to put up with stress and anxiety.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Let&#8217;s be in a hurry to do good today, to speak words of encouragement, to do what God has told us to do without delay. Delayed obedience is disobedience. God&#8217;s idea of hurrying to obey creates peace, not stress.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>Father,<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>Please forgive me for pushing my agenda to the top of my priority list and relegating your instructions to the &#8220;maybe someday&#8221; list. I determine to be quick to obey your command to be quick to obey you! With Your help, I will follow.
