Need a vacation but have no money or time? Come to Jesus. He promises Peace that passes all comprehension. But it isn’t magic. It’s provided for followers of His ways. It involves forgiveness \u2013 receiving it and giving it freely to all who offend you. This isn’t an easy task, but it’s a whole lot easier than holding on to bitterness. So do the hard work of forgiveness \u2013 seeking it and giving it away and have a vacation from your heavy heart. Then whether you’re at work or at the beach, you can truly find Rest for your soul.<\/p>\n

I commit my heavy heart to you. Take my life and do something with it. Forgive me of my sin. Help me to see myself objectively and not as the innocent victim in the world. I have wronged others, but it seems that all I can focus on is the wrongs of others. One by one, I place these folks in Your hands and I take responsibility for my own sin, my own stuff, my own selfishness, and my own greed. I ask for your forgiveness and I receive the grace You have promised in Your Word. \u00a0And I receive your healing as well. Here I am. Take all of me. Manage my life, as my Superior. For You are far above all others, and I choose to live my life for You instead of for me.<\/em><\/p>\n Your Word says that if I cast all my burdens on you, you will sustain me. So sustain me, please, today. I give You my burdens, cares, stress, anxiety and pain. I receive Your grace, forgiveness, and sustenance. What an exchange.
