Father of the Broken-Hearted Mother,<\/p>\n

You sent Your Son, flesh and blood, to walk with us on this earth. He experienced all the pain a human being could possibly know, so He can empathize in our suffering. The knowledge of this gives us comfort. It’s good to know that the One who holds us now understands first hand how we feel. He is the one wiping our tears.<\/p>\n

We offer these tears to you as a sacrifice. Please take them, hold them, and bring meaning to them through Your healing and grace. You are the God of miracles, and we will not give up on all that You desire to do through our lives and even through the pain we feel. We will not relinquish hope.<\/p>\n

Be with all suffering mothers today. “And a sword will pierce your own soul, too,” is a truth acknowledged by most every mother that has walked the earth. The joys intermingle with the sorrows and both sorts of tears flow as one.<\/p>\n

Be with all childless mothers today. Fill their empty arms with Someone dear.<\/p>\n

Be with all estranged mothers today. Unite what evil has spooked apart.<\/p>\n

Be with all broken mothers today. Redeem from addiction and sin. Cleanse and forgive.<\/p>\n

Be with all lonely mothers today. May they do for someone what true mothers do by nature: give.<\/p>\n

Be with all hungry mothers today. Provide sustenance and provision.<\/p>\n

Be with Your mother today. No one suffered more than she.<\/p>\n

Amen<\/p>\n
