\nSitting on the bus

\nWho knew 3 pounds
\nof lean corned beef
\ncould get me closer
\nto the promised land?<\/p>\n

Trapped inside the dentist’s chair,
\nmy eyes glued shut,
\nI give my heartfelt thanks,
\nand it doesn’t hurt as much.<\/p>\n

Finding time to pray
\nis not as hard as I thought.
\nWhether I’m kneeling in front of my bed,
\nor elbow deep in soapsuds
\nat the kitchen sink,
