A hurricane comes in and Jose finds himself stranded on a deserted island. The first day he prays for God to rescue him. With eyes shut, he\u2019s deep in prayer when a ship sails by. The second day he shouts non-stop affirmations of rescue so loudly that he doesn\u2019t hear the helicopter overhead. The third day he vows to walk 1 million paces as an offering to the Lord. He trips over a rubber dinghy and kicks it aside so as not to disrupt his sacrificial plan.<\/p>\n

Finally Jose calls out to God, \u201cWhy haven\u2019t you answered my prayers?<\/em>\u201d
\nGod replies from the heavens, \u201cAw, come on\u2014I sent you a ship, a helicopter and a dinghy!<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n
