\u201cUh, God is magic.\u201d Lame, so lame. She tried again. \u201cGod is invisible, powerful, the father of all creation.\u201d Huh? Her daughter-in-law was listening in and watching the train wreck but didn\u2019t offer to help.<\/p>\n

It was Sarah, Christopher\u2019s older sister, wise beyond her six years, who saved the day. \u201cGod is the owner of heaven.\u201d Christopher got it, Jean breathed again and the daughter-in-law smirked.<\/p>\n

You give it a try. It\u2019s not easy to describe God. Put the \u201cGod explanation\u201d in the pile with, \u201cHow do you know when you\u2019re really in love?\u201d You just know it and that\u2019s that.<\/p>\n

Grammy Jean followed up the conversation with some Internet research and a conversation with her Priest. Turns out Sarah provided the most satisfactory answer after all.<\/p>\n

God speaks to us directly. We listen with our hearts and answer with our faith.\u00a0 Words can\u2019t always describe the miraculous relationship between our Maker and us, there are moments when we\u2019re speechless.\u00a0 Hearing a child ask about God for the first time is one of those moments. If it happens to you, offer a prayer of gratitude. Thank God, for placing a small spark of Himself\u00a0 in His children, waiting to be discovered.<\/p>\n
