There are<br \/>\nseveral easily identifiable locations that would be of interest to fans of the<br \/>\nmovie.<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">1.<br \/>\nJoseph A. Sylvia State Beach is where swimmers go crazy after the attack on the<br \/>\nyoung boy. Next to it is the American Legion Memorial Bridge where we see the<br \/>\nshark swim safely back to sea.<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">2.<br \/>\nAt the intersection of Water and Main Streets in Edgartown is the town center<br \/>\nwhere Chief Brody collects materials for the beach closure signs they suddenly<br \/>\nneed.<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">3.<br \/>\nQuint&#8217;s workshop was located in Menemsha, a fishing port at the southwest tip<br \/>\nof the island. It&#8217;s exact location was the inlet between the General Store and<br \/>\nthe Galley Restaurant. It&#8217;s now an empty lot.<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:2.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\"><i>E.T.<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">7121<br \/>\nLonzo Street<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">Tujunga,<br \/>\nCalifornia<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">This<br \/>\nis the house used as Elliot&#8217;s home in Steven Spielberg&#8217;s classic 1982 film, <i>E.T.<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\"> Situated in the hills of the<br \/>\nTujunga Valley, northeast of the San Fernando Valley, it&#8217;s located at the end<br \/>\nof a cul de sac and can be easily recognized by the&nbsp;familiar mountain peak<br \/>\nbehind it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:2.0pt\"><font face=\"Times-Roman, helvetica, hirakakupro-w3, osaka, 'ms pgothic', sans-serif\" size=\"5\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: 17px\"><i><br \/><\/i><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:2.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\"><i>Return<br \/>\nof the Jedi<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">The<br \/>\nMoon of Endor<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">Jedediah<br \/>\nSmith Redwood State Park<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">Crescent<br \/>\nCity, California<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: Times, helvetica, hirakakupro-w3, osaka, 'ms pgothic', sans-serif;font-size: 13px\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">The towering redwood trees of Northern<br \/>\nCalifornia (some up to 300 feet tall) served as the Moon of Endor in George<br \/>\nLucas&#8217;s third <i>Star Wars<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\"> installment, <i>Return of the Jedi<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">. These were some of the first<br \/>\nscenes from the series filmed in this country. Additionally, the Tatooine<br \/>\nscenes (including the battle at Jabba&#8217;s Sail Barge above the Sarlacc Pit) were<br \/>\nshot near Yuma in the Arizona Desert in Buttercup Valley.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\">&nbsp;<span class=\"Apple-style-span\">Top<br \/>\nGun<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">Kansas<br \/>\nCity Barbecue Restaurant<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">610<br \/>\nWest Market Street<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">San<br \/>\nDiego, California<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">In<br \/>\nthe blockbuster 1986 film <i>Top Gun<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">, this popular eatery was the flyer&#8217;s hangout where<br \/>\nAnthony Edwards banged out &#8220;Great Balls of Fire.&#8221; The movie, starring<br \/>\nTom Cruise, Val Kilmer, and Kelly McGillis, was a major hit due to the blend of<br \/>\nthe Giorgio Moroder score, the romance, and of course the wild F-15 dogfight<br \/>\nsequences.<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:2.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\"><i>Jurassic<br \/>\nPark<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">Kauai<br \/>\nand Oahu, Hawaii<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">Most<br \/>\nof Steven Spielberg&#8217;s 1993 dinosaur smash was filmed on the Garden Isle of<br \/>\nKauai. Many of the places are hard to reach by car, but numerous helicopter<br \/>\ntours can take you right down into the midst of them. Some of the more notable<br \/>\nlocations include:<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">Manawaiopuna<br \/>\nFalls in Hanapepe Valley is where John Hammond&#8217;s helicopter arrives.<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">The<br \/>\ngiant &#8220;Jurassic Park&#8221; gates stood by a water-filled canyon called Blue Hole<br \/>\nnear the center of the island. It&#8217;s a long but beautiful five-hour hike to get<br \/>\nthere from Wailua, on the island&#8217;s rugged eastern coast.<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">The<br \/>\nelectrical fence that the T-Rex broke through was built in Kauai&#8217;s Olokele<br \/>\nValley.<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">On<br \/>\nOahu: The wonderful scene where the herd of Gallimimus charge past Sam Neill<br \/>\nand the kids is actually on the island of Ohau at the Kualoa Ranch, Kamehameha<br \/>\nHighway, Ka&#8217;a&#8217;awa Valley. The ranch can be toured and you can even pose for<br \/>\npictures under the fallen tree where Neil hides from the dinosaurs with the<br \/>\nkids. (Remember when the T. Rex appears and attacks the flock?) Located about<br \/>\n20 miles north of Honolulu, the number is 800-231-7321.<\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:ArialMT;color:#333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:13.0pt;font-family:Times-Roman\">Note:<br \/>\nThe &#8220;Badlands&#8221; scene near the start of the movie was not actually in Utah, but<br \/>\nat Red Rock Canyon in the Mojave Desert, 25 miles northeast of Mojave,<br \/>\nCalifornia.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:12.0pt\"><font face=\"Times-Roman, helvetica, hirakakupro-w3, osaka, 'ms pgothic', sans-serif\" size=\"5\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: 17px\">What is your favorite summer movie?
