When we are in alignment, we are connected to our Source, Higher Self, God or any term we choose to describe the Divinity. This alignment offers one vibration with no resistance and gives us access to all the wellbeing from the Universe.

In other words, when we are in alignment we are in our place of joy, and everything we have been wanting is available to us. This will include answers, ideas, solutions, inspirations etc. If we find ourselves out of alignment, we temporarily block off our wellbeing and our access to what we want as negative emotion makes this so.

Alignment is when we have a desire and offer no thoughts that contradict it. This means there is no negative emotion present. An example of not being in alignment with something would be: We want a new job but tell ourselves we won’t get it, aren’t qualified, don’t deserve it, or have any other thought or belief about it that doesn’t feel good. This means we are not in alignment with our desire. If, on the other hand, we have a desire that we know we deserve, can have, and believe it will come to us, then we are in alignment with what we want.

This always applies in our parenting. When we are feeling good and connected to Source, we are able to communicate clearly with our kids. We are communicating from our place of power, which greatly increases the chances of having them hear us. But they must be in alignment too, in order to hear what we have to say. We don’t have control of when, and if, our kids are in alignment, and that’s why it’s so important to postpone communication until all parties are feeling good, “in alignment.” I acknowledge this can take a while, but it is the only way any conversation will be of value. Haven’t you found this to be true?

Your power of influence originates from your place of alignment. The practice of getting back into alignment when life “happens” enables us to return to our place of power and positive manifesting. When we are in alignment and connected to your Source, we are able to be an inspiration to others, especially our children.

Please feel free to comment!

© 2014. Sharon Ballantine. All Rights Reserved.

What is alignment and why is it so important?
