\"smileThis morning,\u00a0 while thumbing through a copy of Our Lady of Weight Loss:\u00a0 Miraculous and Motivational Musings from the Patron Saint of Permanent Fat Removal<\/a>, I came across a Prickly Prayer that hit the trigger spot, so to speak.\u00a0\u00a0 It was a good reminder and reading it gave me the anti-trigger boost that I needed!<\/p>\n

I’d like to share it with you.\u00a0 Here goes!!!<\/p>\n

Prickly Prayer<\/p>\n

Dear Our Lady of the Hair Trigger,<\/p>\n

May that tired old tape that plays in my head–
\nthe one that triggers me into a mindless pursuit
\nof chips, chocolate and other sinner’s delights,
\nbe permanently erased!<\/p>\n

And replaced by a soft, gentle breeze
\nthat whispers
\n“luscious fruit.”<\/p>\n
