and floats downstream\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n
till the current ends<\/em><\/div>\n
and dips his wing<\/em><\/div>\n
in the orange sun rays<\/em><\/div>\n
and dares to claim the sky.<\/em><\/div>\n
But a bird that stalks<\/em><\/div>\n
down his narrow cage<\/em><\/div>\n
can seldom see through<\/em><\/div>\n
his bars of rage<\/em><\/div>\n
his wings are clipped and\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n
his feet are tied<\/em><\/div>\n
so he opens his throat to sing.<\/em><\/div>\n
The caged bird sings\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n
with a fearful trill\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n
of things unknown\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n
