How do you know that there is a future?\u00a0 Seriously Tushkateers.\u00a0 It’s not as if anyone has ever been there.\u00a0 (Am I right, or am I right?)<\/em>\u00a0 Yet, we imagine that there is a future and we visualize this future based on our past.\u00a0 A past, which no longer exists.<\/p>\n

If the past no longer exists and there is no future, then there is only the present moment.\u00a0 Now, I know that you’ve heard that before and that you ‘get it.’\u00a0\u00a0 Yet, sometimes we speak in absolutes.\u00a0 Absolutes that are based on past experiences.<\/p>\n

Absolutes like:\u00a0 “I always…” or “I never…” or “everybody…” or “nobody!”\u00a0 Absolutes have an all-or-nothing aspect to them.\u00a0 When we speak in absolutes, we basically kill off the possibility of other outcomes.<\/p>\n

So…next time you hear yourself saying, “I always fail…” or “I never win…” or “Everybody’s better…” or “Nobody cares…” remind yourself that the past is over.\u00a0 There is no future.\u00a0 Only possibility exists.<\/p>\n
