Once upon a time, a chubby young woman was wandering about in the Land of the Lost and Found Pounds, thinking self-deprecating thoughts when she ran into the Goddess of Forever Thin.<\/p>\n

She said, \u201cHi Goddess. You are wise, and I am desperate. I want to lose weight once and for all. My triple X elastic waistband pants are tight and leaving skid marks\u201d. (She showed her the marks.)<\/p>\n

The Goddess asked, \u201dHow strong is your desire to permanently remove your excess weight?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, are you kidding? Am I not in the Land of the Lost and Found Pounds, and did I not just show you my skid marks!\u201d she replied.<\/p>\n

The Goddess calmly continued, \u201cWill you plan your meals, shop for fresh fruit and vegetables, power walk around the park at least three times a week?\u201d<\/p>\n

“Oh, dear,\u201d chubby young woman replied, \u201cI just don\u2019t have the time. I\u2019m way too busy during the day, and I am way too tired at night.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat personal sacrifices will you make to ensure that you will reach your goals?\u201d asked the Goddess<\/p>\n

“Sacrifices?\u201d she answered.<\/p>\n

“Until you build your \u2018want power\u2019 muscles, you will aimlessly move up and down, in and out of the peaks and valleys in the Land of the Lost and Found Pounds.\u201d said the Goddess.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, the Goddess of Forever Thin then handed the chubby young woman a little pamphlet to read and digest, giving her much food for thought. \u201cThe Goddess of Forever Thin’s Guide to Building Your Want-Power Muscle\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

Think \u201cI can\u201d thoughts. <\/b>Repeat after me\u2026 \u201cI can. I can. I can.\u201d You are starting to feel more confident, aren\u2019t you?<\/p>\n

Stay clear of the naysayers. <\/b>You will undoubtedly find those who say, \u201cYou\u2019ll never make it. It\u2019s too hard. How can you live without cake 24\/7?\u201d etc. etc. etc.!<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t let the naysayers embed their negative thoughts into your clear mind. Smile and move on, fast.<\/p>\n

If not now, when? <\/b>You have a responsibility to yourself, first and foremost. Tomorrow never comes.<\/p>\n
