In addition, using dark plates diminishes appetite.<\/p>\n<p>In keeping with the &#8216;keep me in the dark&#8217; theme, <b>opt for a<\/b> <b>dark blue or black tablecloth<\/b> or place-mats.<\/p>\n<p><b>Use tall, skinny drinking glasses<\/b> (vs. short and wide glasses). Researchers at the University of Illinois found that we will pour less into tall, skinny glasses than short and wide glasses, even though they hold the same amount of liquid.<\/p>\n<p><b>Fill two vases with fresh flowers<\/b>.\u00a0 The first for your dining room table\u2013to create a beautiful and relaxing experience. Choose flowers that delight and feed your soul.<\/p>\n<p>The second one should be filled with <b>fresh red flowers<\/b> and placed in the entrance to your home. The red flowers with infuse you with energy upon entering and inspire you to cook up something fabulous on your clean stove.<\/p>\n<p><b>Candles<\/b> are always a nice touch for the table. <b>Watch the flames flicker<\/b>.
