As we process our thoughts, we project them as pictures onto the screens of our mind. Daydreaming, fantasizing, and mental rehearsals are examples of visualizations.<br \/>\nMany of us dream of having a new job, going on a hike in the woods, swimming in the warm waters of the Caribbean \u2013 all pleasant thoughts and images.<br \/>\nThere are times, however, that we get caught in the negative web of mentally reviewing and rehearsing our fears.  Have you ever had a mental fight? Or imagined the unimaginable \u2013 gaining back the ten pounds that you just lost? (Such dark thoughts! Oh My!)<br \/>\nMany of us don\u2019t realize the power of our minds. If you imagine the negative, you will create negativity in your life.<br \/>\nVisualization helps us realize our dreams.  When an idea becomes \u201cfixed\u201d in our subconscious, we automatically make decisions that help us move toward it.  Athletes are known to utilize visualization to reach their goals.  They see themselves performing the perfect dive off the high board, scoring a 10!<br \/>\nAccording to the book <em>The Einstein Factor<\/em> by Win Wenger and Richard Poe, visualization helps to increase our intelligence.  It helps to build the connectors between the neurons in our brains.  It\u2019s like building a mental muscle.  Albert Einstein conducted most of his experiments in his brain \u2013 by visualizing them.<br \/>\nOur outside world \u2013 what we consider reality \u2013 manifests from our mental world.  First comes the thought; and from the thought comes the action.  We create our reality.<br \/>\nFor those of us who want to remove excess weight permanently, it is key that we spend a period of time, daily, consciously seeing and creating our new selves.<br \/>\nHow will you create your today?
