RoadRunner’s Message by Janice Taylor, Self-Help \/ Weight Loss Artist<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A few weeks ago, a major league huge, prehistoric looking bird came a tappin’ on my front window.\u00a0 Needless to say, this CityGrrl had no idea what it was – other than a bird.<\/p>\n

So, I quickly sent out an email to my Tucson neighbor, who is a ‘birder,’ describing this long-tailed, tall creature, which she identified in the shake of a cuckoo’s tail!<\/p>\n

The bird was a Roadrunner, which is actually a ground foraging cuckoo bird with long legs, as well as four toes on each foot with two facing forwards and two facing backwards, which is how they are able to run up to 20 mph!<\/p>\n
