I hope my publisher doesn&#8217;t get too angry at me for releasing parts of the book before the designated time and place.  But hey &#8211; I thought you all might find it useful, and if anyone gets mad at me, they can try out the forgiver-cise and see how it works for them!<br \/>\n<strong><em>Forgive<\/em><\/strong>rcise:<br \/>\nWhen truly angry (or upset in any way) try the \u2018The Our Lady Five Forgivercise.\u2019  The idea is to bitch n&#8217; moan to five different people in close succession.   I promise you that by the time you\u2019ve told your &#8216;story&#8217; to five people, you\u2019ll be ready to forgive those who have offended you and move on!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Creating Your Our Lady of Five List:<\/strong><br \/>\nAs we know, being prepared is a big part of Permanent Fat Removal.  Therefore, there\u2019s no point in waiting for a crisis or upset to take out your address book (both old school \u2013 your hard copy rolodex or address book; and new school \u2013 on your computer) and decide who you are going to include in this illustrious group of friends (and family?) to whom you will bitch n\u2019 moan.<br \/>\n<strong>Start from A and go to Z<\/strong>, pulling names of possible ventees (you are the ventor).  Be sure to consider those who are capable of just listening.  You do not want anyone to fix anything.  (Some people can\u2019t help but to try and fix things.) You simply want to feel comfortable enough to let out your true feelings, without regard to feeling judged.<br \/>\n<strong>Pull as many names as you can.<\/strong>  Break up into you\u2019re A, B and C lists. &#8220;A&#8221; being those who are the most capable of being there for you in a way that you need them to be. When the time comes start with you\u2019re &#8220;A&#8221; list people and use your &#8220;B&#8221; and &#8220;C&#8221; lists as backup.  Not everyone is sitting by a telephone waiting to hear from you and you want to make sure that you can tell your story to 5 people consecutively, in as short order as possible.<br \/>\nThis is a telephone exercise.  Not an email event.
