{"id":3513,"date":"2012-03-30T08:00:32","date_gmt":"2012-03-30T12:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/ourladyofweightloss\/?p=3513"},"modified":"2012-03-30T08:00:32","modified_gmt":"2012-03-30T12:00:32","slug":"dysfunctional-chef-pasta-with-creamy-mushroom-sauce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/ourladyofweightloss\/2012\/03\/dysfunctional-chef-pasta-with-creamy-mushroom-sauce.html","title":{"rendered":"Dysfunctional Chef:  Pasta with Creamy Mushroom Sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/ourladyofweightloss\/files\/2011\/12\/dysfunctional-chef.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-3110\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/100\/2011\/12\/dysfunctional-chef-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a> Greetings Foodies one n&#8217; all!\u00a0 Today&#8217;s Dysfunctional Chef recipe is a gourmet treat that weighs-in at under 350 calories per serving!\u00a0 Amazing, no?<\/p>\n<p>A healthy mix of comforting pasta and shiitake mushrooms (an anti-inflammatory food). \u00a0 Serve with big salad, and you&#8217;ve got yourself a lip-smackin&#8217; 5 yum meal!!!<\/p>\n<h3>Ingredients<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>8-oz. package of whole-wheat or high-fiber spaghetti (may as well go for the healthy gusto, no?)<\/li>\n<li>2 medium leeks<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup pre-sliced exotic mushroom blend<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup fresh wild mushrooms, preferably shiitake but chanterelle are okay, too, as are porcini<\/li>\n<li>5 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup shallots, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon butter<\/li>\n<li>1.5 cups 2% milk (or 1%)<\/li>\n<li>4 ozs. goat cheese, plain n&#8217; crumbled<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup chopped fresh parsley<\/li>\n<li>salt n&#8217; pepper to taste<\/li>\n<li>fresh sage leaves to garnish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Instructions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bring a large pot of salted water to boil.
