Then &#8230; READ THIS!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>CALORIES RULE<\/strong>  The largest-ever controlled study of weight-loss methods was published this week in the <a href=\"http:\/\/content.nejm.org\/\">New England Journal of Medicine.<\/a>  More than 800 overweight adults were assigned to one of four diets that reduced calories through a variety of combinations. No one ate fewer than 1,200 calories per day!<br \/>\nAt the end of this two year study, the big lesson learned is that people lose weight if they lower calories, AND it does not matter how. <em>(I&#8217;ve been saying that for seven years.  Like HOLA? Is anyone listening to me?)<\/em><br \/>\nDr. Frank M.
