Happy Kick in the Tush Tuesday, Tushkateers!<\/strong><\/p>\n

How goes it?\u00a0 Are you kickin’ high and happy?\u00a0 Like a Rockette?\u00a0 I am, ’cause it was supposed to rain all day today and the sun is surprising shining bright.\u00a0 Will it remain so? I hope, I hope, I hope so, because my ‘chosen’ family is visiting with their standard poodle, Mingus.\u00a0 The ‘kids’ (who are completely and extremely grown-up, but are related to me in a way that steers me to thinking of them as ‘kids’)<\/em> are going to hightail it over to the MET to see an exhibit, and I am dog-sitting.<\/p>\n

Woo Hoo! I have a ton of errands to run, and I am bringing Mingus with me!\u00a0 AND, when our ‘work’ is done, we are going to the dog park, across the street, to hang with the other dogs and their owners.\u00a0 A novelty for me, as we are pet-less.\u00a0 I will bring my camera and take photos.\u00a0 In the meantime, here’s one of Mingus that was taken during the holidays, when he was a puppy.\u00a0 Is he handsome, or what???<\/p>\n

Once again, it’s the little things in life that bring the most joy!\u00a0 Visiting poodles, surprisingly sunny days, and smiling faces.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Which brings me to the QUESTION of the WEEK:\u00a0 What simple things bring joy to your life???\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

By the way, Tushkateers, with regard to Paula Deen, I am not judging her cooking! Good, bad, healthy, unhealthy … whatever! \u00a0 It was more a muse on wrapping my head around the fact that she is signing with a big drug company – a multi-million dollar deal – to be a spokesperson for their Diabetes drug. \u00a0 And I wondered if she was going to cook differently, or was the message more like – eat whatever and take drugs.<\/p>\n
