Whether you are into setting resolutions or not, there is a certain wave of energy that comes with the New Year.\u00a0 <\/strong>It is a powerful energy that presents itself to you for its unmasking.<\/p>\n

And in this unmasking, you will find that an opportunity exists to clear your slate, create a new mental state, and approach life with fresh eyes.<\/p>\n

As we set our intention and goals for the New Year and dedicate ourselves to doing the best that we can do, it\u2019s important to note that DESIRE is the key to our success.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Desire ignites the flames of passion.\u00a0 <\/strong>Passion is the fuel that jets you toward your goals and your compelling future <\/strong><\/p>\n

By believing passionately in something that still does not exist, we create it. <\/em><\/strong>
\nThe nonexistent is whatever we have not sufficiently desired. <\/em><\/strong>

When we set a goal, we need to ignite the desire that lives underneath the goal.\u00a0\u00a0 The best and most effective way to tap into this energy field called \u2018desire,\u2019 is to ask yourself,<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat will ____________ give me that I wouldn\u2019t otherwise have.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

For Example: Let\u2019s presuppose that your goal is to lose weight, and for the purposes of this mentalCISE (exercise for the mind), let\u2019s say you want to permanently remove 50 pounds.<\/p>\n

In order to ignite your passion, answer this question:
\nWhat will permanently removing 50 pounds give me that I wouldn\u2019t otherwise have?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n


\nYour true motivation lies underneath those excess pounds.<\/strong>\u00a0 One of the reasons that people \u2018lose weight\u2019 and \u2018find it\u2019 again is because they are not clear on what they are really looking for; what their deeper desire might be.<\/p>\n

Again, I ask \u2026
\nWhat will losing weight give you that you wouldn\u2019t otherwise have?
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Gobs of happy energy?<\/em>
\n Buckets of self-worth, self-respect and self-love?<\/em>
\n A new fun and\/or sexy wardrobe?<\/em><\/p>\n

Tap into your deepest desires.\u00a0 What is that you really want?\u00a0 What passion lies underneath the pounds? What passion lies underneath the clutter?\u00a0 Underneath the chaos?<\/p>\n
