DONE!!!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This morning, I took a look at my &#8216;to-do&#8217; list and screamed.\u00a0 Okay, I didn&#8217;t really scream but there was an audible sigh!\u00a0 So much to do, so little time!\u00a0 How am I &#8211;<em> how are YOU<\/em> &#8211; going to manage to get it all done within a few short weeks?\u00a0 Before Chanukah, Christmas and Kwanzaa hit; before the New Year rolls in?<\/p>\n<p>Even before 2012?\u00a0 <em>(Before the world ends?\u00a0 In which case, is any of my to-do list relevant &#8230;. Oh, I digress)?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In between the audible sigh and predictions of the living end, a miracle happened (again).\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ourladyofweightloss.com\/\">Our Lady of Weight Loss<\/a> hit me upside the head <em>(with a celery stick)<\/em> and reminded me that I already have a kick-tush strategy to deal with the <em>to-do&#8217;s <\/em>in my arsenal of mass reduction!<\/p>\n<p>I immediately took the advice of OLofWL, which essentially was to take my own good advice, and here follows the<strong><em> best Do THIS Not THAT Tool ever!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>DO THIS, NOT THAT!<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><\/strong> Draw a line down the center of a piece of paper. On one side of the paper write \u2018to do\u2019 list, and then on the other side of the page write \u2018not to do.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Now, write out all you have to do on the to do side of the page. We really do have ridiculously long \u2018to do\u2019 lists, don\u2019t we?<br \/>\n<strong>Here comes the fun part<\/strong>! Take a good look at your \u2018to do\u2019 list and take anything on it that someone else could do for you and move it to your \u2018not to do\u2019 list.<\/p>\n<p>For instance,<strong> the laundry<\/strong>.\u00a0 Either find someone else in the house who is capable of tossing it into the washer and drier to do the laundry or send it out. Not only are there people and places who do laundry, they pick up, deliver and fold it!<\/p>\n<p>Is <strong>food shopping<\/strong> taking up too much of your precious time? Order on-line or call-in a standing delivery to your neighborhood grocery store.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cleaning? Forgetaboutit.<\/strong> I\u2019m lucky. My husband has a much lower tolerance to mess than I do.
