The summer solstice is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. Miraculously, the sun has been ever so slowly inching its way back into the Days of our Lives<\/em>; rising a minute or two earlier each morning and setting a minute or two later each night.\u00a0 The ‘change’ has been happening so slowly, in fact, that we kind of don’t notice … until one day we realize that it’s light out after dinner!<\/p>\n

In our best Valley Girl voice, we say, “OMG, Girlfriend (whether we are talking to a guy or a girl<\/em>), it’s 8 p.m. and it is still light out!\u00a0 Let’s go for a walk!!!”<\/p>\n
