(Unless, of course you are legitimately hungry!)\u00a0 But before I do, I want to share with you some personal information!\u00a0 Before I became the voice of Our Lady of Weight Loss, prior to my permanently removed over 50 pounds (10 years gone, gone, gone), I ate until I couldn\u2019t breathe.\u00a0 That\u2019s how I knew I was full.<\/p>\n<p>Step 1:\u00a0 <strong>TUNE INTO that \u201cfull\u201d feeling. <\/strong> When you are one quarter of the way through your meal, come to a FULL STOP!\u00a0\u00a0 And then, go inside and check in with your body.<\/p>\n<p>Your body is an amazingly intuitive, tuned in, fabulous being in it of itself, without your thoughts getting in its way, weighing it down!\u00a0 So &#8230;\u00a0 Get out of your head, and go into your body, and ask, \u201cOn a scale of 1 to 10, how full are you?\u201d\u00a0 (ten being the highest)\u00a0 If you are a 10, ought oh!\u00a0 Put the fork down and push away from the table.\u00a0 If you are at a 2 or 3, eat until you are 1\/2 way through your meal and check in again.\u00a0 Decide what number is comfortable for you, and \u2018study\u2019 it.\u00a0\u00a0 What does it feel like to be &#8216;sated?&#8217; Not hungry; not full &#8230; just right.\u00a0 Where is your just right?\u00a0 Study it!!!\u00a0 Remember it!<\/p>\n<p>Step 2.\u00a0 <strong>SMELL your food.<\/strong> Stop 1\/4 of the way through and smell it.\u00a0 If your food starts to smell unappetizing, say greasy or heavy or bad in any way, that is a signal from your body that you are done!\u00a0 Study that smell!!!
