\nOkay … my personal … WEIGHTY CONFESSION!<\/strong><\/big>
\nWhen I was losing weight (vs. being ‘on’ maintenance a.k.a. the mini-see-saw)<\/em>, I was obsessed with the scale and my measurements. If the scale didn’t budge, I took out the tape measure and quickly wrapped it tight around my waist or thighs, manipulating the numbers.
\nThen one day, Our Lady of Weight Loss<\/strong><\/em> spoke to me (again)! And she said, “For goodness sake, stop measuring your self worth by the numbers. YOU are beyond measure.<\/strong><\/em>”
\nHoly Light Bulb Moment!<\/strong><\/em> I went into “Edward Scissorhands” mode. Scissors in hand, I cut up the tape measure into 6 1\/2 inch pieces – made bracelets – and have been wearing them ever since.

\nIsn’t it good to know that in a world that measures everything by the numbers … from your height, weight and waist to your BMI … from your age to your salary …
