I know, I do!  Someone said something nice to me today and it made all the difference.  <em>(Thank you kind stranger!<\/em>) Positive and encouraging comments build confidence and self-esteem.<br \/>\n<em><strong>So, hey, why not?<\/strong><\/em> Say something nice to someone!  It ain&#8217;t gonna&#8217; cost you nothin&#8217;, and it&#8217;s relatively easy. And &#8211; extra bonus &#8211; as you look for the good in others, they will find the good in you.<br \/>\n<em><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\">&#8220;You will find what you look for: good or evil, problems or solutions.&#8221; ~ John Marks Templeton<\/div>\n<p><\/em><br \/>\n<strong><em>Compliments are little offerings of unexpected, no-strings-attached love.<\/em><\/strong>  They are not asked for; they are not required.  They simply let a person know that you recognize their positive light and that they are worthy of notice.  If delivered well, a compliment can change the air from static to calm; from negative to positive.<br \/>\n<em><strong>Compliments send out a ripple of kindness.<\/strong><\/em>  Not only does the recipient of the compliment feel good, so does the giver.  Moods are boosted; positivity amplified.<br \/>\n<strong><em>Compliments land successfully only when sincere<\/em><\/strong>; when a true reflection of what we are thinking. Faux, syrupy, artificially sweetened compliments will backfire and the deliverer of said fake compliments will appear insincere and untrustworthy.<br \/>\n<big><strong>Be An Angel:  Pile on the Praise<\/strong><\/big><br \/>\nThe best way to spread the complimentary word (NOT the icing) is to take a moment to notice what&#8217;s right and good in a person; something that you genuinely admire, and then find a way to let them know.<br \/>\n<strong><em>Here are some positive character traits<\/em><\/strong> that you might be on the look out for.<br \/>\nKind &#8211; Fair &#8211; Helpful &#8211; Honest &#8211; Reliable &#8211; Friendly &#8211; Brave &#8211; Caring  &#8211; Smart &#8211; Funny &#8211; Generous &#8211; Open minded &#8211; Loving &#8211; Warm &#8211; Positive &#8211; Peaceful &#8211; Creative &#8211; Witty &#8211; Cheerful &#8211; Flexible &#8211; Beautiful &#8211; Handsome &#8211; Sexy &#8211; Good Listener &#8211; Joy &#8211; Unique &#8211; Funny<br \/>\n<em><strong>And now practice giving compliments.<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nYou are &#8230; fun.<br \/>\nYou are &#8230; unique.<br \/>\nYou are &#8230; loving.<br \/>\nI appreciate your ability to listen.<br \/>\nI appreciate your kindness.<br \/>\nYou do &#8216;that&#8217; so well.<br \/>\nYou bring out the best in me.<br \/>\nYou make me want to be a better person.<br \/>\n<strong><em>And when someone gives you a compliment<\/em><\/strong>, simply smile and say, &#8220;Thank you.&#8221;<br \/>\nAnd now &#8230; go ahead, leave a complimentary comment<em> (about anyone!)<\/em><br \/>\n<strong><em>Spread the complimentary word (NOT the icing!),<br \/>\nJanice<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nWant more health and happiness?
