Research supports the theory that lack of sleep results in hormonal changes that can cause weight gain.<br \/>\n<strong>The High and Low of It.<\/strong><br \/>\nSpecifically, they found that people who don&#8217;t get enough zzzzzz&#8217;s had lower levels of the hormone leptin, an appetite-suppressing hormone.  While, at the same time, they had higher levels of ghrelin, an appetite-boosting hormone!<br \/>\n<strong>Do the Math.<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you were to spread out those 2 hours of sleep over the entire week (120 divided by 7), we&#8217;re talking approximately 17 minutes of sleep per day.   A very doable and sleepable amount!<br \/>\n<strong>Curl Up Time!<\/strong><br \/>\nGet to bed a little earlier, get up a few minutes later, curl up in a chair and dose for a spell!
